Basic Dress Code:

A dress code presents a professional appearance, provides unit cohesiveness, and allows us to identify each other in combat. The following items make up uniform of the Fighting 15th:

Standard Combat Uniform (No 1 Dress):

1. BDUs; Elmira Camouflage Pattern
2. Boonie Cap; Elmira Camouflage Pattern
3. Gaiters; Khaki
4. Boots; Black or OD
5. Any visible undergarment must be olive drab
6. Belt; OD or Black
7.Load bearing equipment used in the field must of the prescribed color and pattern.

8. Use of gloves is encouraged, and must be olive drab or black

Corpsmen must ensure that their uniform and associated equipment is always clean and neat and that their boots are clean and presentable. This dress code must be adhered at all Company functions.

EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS:

Standard Combat Equipment:

1. Corpsmen are required to use eye protection that meets the following requirements:

-Polycarbonate lens construction that meets ANSI Z87.1 or ANSI Z80.3 standards -Frames that leave no gaps that a BB could pass through

2. Corpsmen are required to use an SR16 or equivalent as their primary weapon.

3. Coprmen may only use mid capacity magazines.

PERSONAL GEAR:

Within the Company’s dress code and equipment requirements, the Fighting 15th has established regulations for personal equipment. All personal equipment not meeting the criteria of the Dress Code or Equipment Requirements must be approved for use by the Senior Patrol Leader before it may be used.

If a Corpsman has gear that does not meet the requirements of the Dress Code or Equipment Requirements, but he considers necessary; he must request an assessment of the gear by the Senior Patrol Leader.

Approval will be granted if the request is deemed legitimate.
